What enslaves you

About a year ago I was asked to write a children's play about Kwanzaa. I was excited because I felt like I would be able to highlight all the children's talent, I would also be able to include elements of comedy because that is my strong point. I wanted to write a rap for the kids to perform.
The differences in what I wanted to do and what was done wasn't that varying. The comedy was included but some of my jokes were a bit edgy so the director made me censor them for the kids. I also did not get to put them in costumes which I felt would have added to the show. I also didn't get to incorporate any rap.
The limitations I faced were the kids ages because a lot of them were young and due to time constraints couldn't memorize an elaborate script. Time was also a factor because we only met one saturday a week for  five weeks. The director of the entire show would also tell me if I went to far and then I would have to revise the script. The biggest issue was budget. Budget controlled the amount of rehearsal time we could have had and it affected our costumes.
The limitations were keep it appropriate for school then I added more like it had to be funny and it had to be video then I worked from there.
My creation of a broken watch is to show my time limitations

Fishbowl

The most important thing was FiSHBOWL. Fishbowl means to put constraints on something whether it be a person project or idea. There should be a limit of options we have or boundaries set to guide us in projects and life in general. There should be goals that guide us rather than complete freedom.

MY BEAD

I did test shots with my new camera using the bead. I shot people holding the bead just to see how the camera works and operates. I had a lot of fun and now we might start a series involving the traveling bead. I knew I wanted to do something with video so i just had my friends hold the bead while I adjusted my camera.
